This is really the first post on fortytwopoints.com.
After moving all of the content prior to this post over from a previous Typepad account/site, the DNS mapping has finally finished. So now when you type fortytwopoints.com, it takes you there (here). The same goes for fortytwopoints.net, though I decided to leave off the masking for fortytwopoints.typepad.com, partly because I appreciate Typepad's service and mostly because I can't get it to stop effin' my layout. The site is now ready to come into its own.
There is still a lot of work to do; the current color scheme and look is a placeholder, no logos and such are up, features need to be added, and of course, more content is to come.
I decided to add a "Coming Up" section to let you know what I am working on. I never got into RSS feeds so I was hard pressed to leave that "subscribe" link on the site otherwise. After a little consideration, I decided to give you a reason to do so. Or at least to tantalize you into doing it.
We've got a review of Red Alert 3 incoming, a video where I lick a filthy piece of plastic, a reality check for the Left 4 Dead fan boys (that's me), and a history of the greatest boon to video games since the 4 button controller: procedural physics.
