Extended Viewing with Halo Wars: Other People's Reviews

I haven't played the full version of Halo Wars yet and quite frankly probably won't any time soon, but I did offer my two cents about the demo with a review that you can see here.

The gist is that while it's functional, I'm not a fan.

But of course like most people in the world, I'm a fucktard in many regards, and if you just swallowed my view without a counter-opinion, well, that might just make you one too. So, to not help propagate exactly what I created this site to fight against, I've come across a few video reviews of Ensemble's latest and final effort and I decided to post them up here for your consideration.

First we have Revision 3's review, and while their opinion is split three-ways, they seem to feel the way I feel about it:

Then we have the review from GameTrailers.com and, oops, it sounds about the same:

Of course, I have to have something to counter my opinion, and after a little time on Metacritic, I finally found Halo Wars the reach-around fair review it was looking for on IGN:

Not surprisingly, their's doesn't make it sound like Master Chief's second-coming either.

Looking from the top-down (pun intended), what I've gathered from these videos is that if you're looking for an RTS and own a PC, you should look elsewhere. But if you prefer to play on the console or just plain like the Halo mythos, then this is probably a safe-enough bet to invest in.
